Original Room & Brief

Brief

The goal of this project is to redesign a bedroom to accommodate an introverted lifestyle, providing a comfortable living space that combines the aesthetic appeal of natural light with the comfort of a secluded environment.

 Slice Design

Slice of space

The slice of space design is an experiment with light and space, providing the user with a unique morning experience. Designed with the intention of accommodating non-standard sleeping patterns, the sunlight entering the room through the triangular windows lights the room while the user’s eyes are shaded by the room’s divider.

Cherry Blossom Design

Cherry blossom

The cherry blossom design brings a small piece of nature into the centre of the users experience of this room. A feeling of private connection to the outside world is promoted by natural light being filtered through a small garden inside the user’s space.
